Description

Our client, a leading publisher of information to the library and academic market is looking to appoint an Sales Manager for France.

Responsibilities:

· Increase the profitability of the office in France by increasing volume of sales and expanding the customer base
· Liaise closely with General Manager to develop strategy and prepare budgets.
· Provide strategic planning to Contracts department.
· Coordinate all sales team activities delegating responsibilities across the team
· Sell products and services to customers and prospects
· Achieve the targets agreed and set each year
· Develop knowledge and understanding of all products and services
· Increase knowledge and understanding of the industry and customers’ needs
· Train and coach sales team to build relationships, sell effectively and win business
· Target competitors effectively
· Train sales team to have thorough and practical understanding of all products
· Attend necessary customer visits, conferences, exhibitions, roadshows and seminars

Experience:

· Minimum 8 years’ client sales/account management experience
· Proven ability to be proactive and reactive to sales opportunities
· Proven ability to manage teams to achieve success
· Excellent at building and maintaining customer relationships
· Excellent telephone manner
· Strong customer service focus
· Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
· Territory management
