The MA in Digital Asset Management at King’s College London responds to the increasing demand for digitally literate professionals to work in the content industries, including cultural heritage institutions and business. It is the only programme of its kind in the UK. Students will acquire both a thorough grounding in the theory, and a range of strategic, technical and practical skills that will enable them to take up leadership roles in the area of Digital Asset Management (DAM), and related areas such as MAM (Marketing Asset Management), ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and MedAM (Media Asset Management).
MADAM is taught jointly by the Department of Digital Humanities and the Centre for e-Research at King’s College London. Lecturers are experts in the field, combining knowledge of the theory and methods underpinning DAM with practical experience in developing and running DAM services.
