ACCUCOMS and ASN Pen Agreement Securing Partnership to Expand European Sales Representation through 2018

ACCUCOMS is pleased to announce that it will be the exclusive representative for the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) in Europe.

Under the leadership of Commercial Manager, Raluca Pop, who will oversee the contacts in Europe, ACCUCOMS will be promoting ASN’s Nutrition Science Legacy Archive (1928-1998 backfiles) and their three journals: Advances in Nutrition (AN), The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (AJCN), and The Journal of Nutrition (JN). These journals are highly rated with AJCN being the highest ranked peer-reviewed journal in nutrition and dietetics. AJCN was selected by the Special Libraries Association (SLA) as one of the top 100 most influential journals in Biology and Medicine over the last 100 years.

Although ACCUCOMS and ASN formally started working together in 2013, the relationship with Dante Preciado, Director of Global Sales and Outreach at ASN started in the late 1990’s.  “We are very excited about our expanded partnership with ACCUCOMS, to enhance customer service for existing accounts and to gain exposure for new customers for ASN,” says Dante Preciado. “We feel confident about the staff resources at ACCUCOMS and will be working closely with their regional sales managers to customize offerings that will expand our reach and fulfill ASN’s mission to make our published content available and accessible for users worldwide.”

“After years of providing ASN with successful TeleSales campaigns we are thrilled to have secured our partnership with this agreement,” says Egon Menardi, Commercial Director at ACCUCOMS. “ACCUCOMS has a proven track record and with our vast experience in the European market we will help ASN navigate various channels in order to boost their journal sales.”
