ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2022: Shortlist announced

The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP), is pleased to announce the shortlist for the ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing 2022.

Applications for the annual awards were open to any new development, product, service or project which is both innovative and of significant value to scholarly communication. The winners are asked to demonstrate excellence in terms of originality, innovation, value to the community, utility and long-term viability.  

The ALPSP Awards finalists for 2022 are: 

David Sommer, Chair of the judging panel, and co-founder at Kudos commented:   

“The judges were pleased to receive and review a range of applications this year.  The shortlist reflects the pace of change and innovation across all areas of scholarly publishing and communication. We thank everyone who made a submission and congratulate the finalists for being selected.”

Wayne Sime, Chief Executive of ALPSP, added:

“We thank the judging panel for their work in reviewing the submissions and look forward to hearing more about the finalists at the ALPSP Conference in September in Manchester.”

All the finalists will present their submissions to the judges in July. They will be also invited to showcase their innovation to industry peers at the ALPSP Awards session to be held on Wednesday 14 September at the ALPSP 2022 Conference. The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Thursday 15 September.
