IET announce significant increases in impact factors across journal portfolio

Latest JCR reports show ratings have increased on average by 45% 

The IET is delighted to announce that titles in its journal portfolio have seen a significant increase in their impact factor rating in the latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR). On average, impact factors across all eligible titles have increased by 45%.

Of particular note are:

  •  IET Power Electronics, which has achieved its highest ever rating of 3.547 and is in the top quartile for the Engineering, Electrical and Electronic category;
  •  Journals IET Optoelectronics, IET Circuits, Devices & Systems and IET Biometrics, which have seen ratings grow by more than 80%;
  •  IET Computer Vision and IET Communications have seen ratings increase by more than 50%.
