Lyndsey Dixon joins De Gruyter as Global Journals Director

De Gruyter has hired Lyndsey Dixon as Global Journals Director to expand and strengthen its journals portfolio, including open access journals.

Dixon joins De Gruyter from Taylor & Francis, where she spent the last ten years of her career and where she was most recently Editorial Director APAC Journals. Prior to Taylor & Francis, Dixon spent three years in Editorial at Elsevier. She will continue to be based in Hong Kong and will, in addition to her overall responsibility for all of De Gruyter’s journals, also play a key role in developing the company’s journal and business partnership prospects in APAC, particularly in China, Japan and Southeast Asia.

Dixon will report to Tom Clark, Vice President Global Publishing at De Gruyter, who said:  “I am delighted that Lyndsey will be joining us and look forward to working closely with her to focus on developing and growing not only our entire journals program in the global market but also our author strategies, institutional partnerships as well as pursuing new business opportunities across our subject range.”
