The Intellectual Property and Science business of Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, today announced a collaboration withCopyright Clearance Center (CCC), a global licensing and content solutions organization, to streamline the Open Access publishing workflow with an integrated solution for article processing charges (APCs) throughScholarOneTM Manuscripts, the premier journal and peer review tool for scholarly publishers and societies.

CCC’s RightsLink® for Open Access will integrate into ScholarOne Manuscripts, providing authors with a secure, end-to-end solution for Open Access article submission and peer review, including the management of APCs. Historically, APC fee processing has been a cumbersome, manual and costly part of the Open Access publishing process.
