Dedicated to providing exceptional author service through swift evaluation of existing reviews, Health Science Reports will publish peer-reviewed scientifically sound research across the entire spectrum of the medical and clinical sciences.
Wiley’s health sciences portfolio typically attracts more authors and articles than can be published in highly selective journals. The new journal demonstrates Wiley’s commitment to providing greater choice for authors who wish to publish their research in a world-class medical journal, and to improving health through the publication of important research. Working with Editors of Wiley-published journals including Helicobacter,CNS Neuroscience and Therapeutics, Molecular Carcinogenesis, Bipolar Disorders, Contact Dermatitis and many more, Health Science Reports will extend Wiley’s open access options to provide a new home for sound health research and deliver a high-quality, rapid publication service for authors.
Dedicated to developing an invaluable resource for researchers, practitioners, clinicians and patients, Health Science Reports aims to improve the efficiency of the peer-review workflow, while making a real contribution to the improvement of global health outcomes. The Journal welcomes submissions of all study types including but not limited to protocols, reviews, clinical perspectives and meta-analyses.
Health Science Reports features an Advisory Board of medical and clinical experts, led by Dr Charles Young, founding Editor in Chief for Clinical Case Reports. “Health Science Reports is an extremely important development for global open access publishing. Our vision is to measurably improve health by rapidly identifying, accurately recording, and widely disseminating excellent health science research,” said Dr Young.

Health Science Reports will offer authors a choice of Creative Commons licenses including CC BY. Authors with open access mandates from funders will be fully compliant when publishing with this journal. Authors affiliated with, or funded by, an organization that has a Wiley Open Access Account may be eligible for support with article publication charges.
