ACCUCOMS To Extend Representation of Royal Society to the Indian Sub-Continent

ACCUCOMS is pleased to announce an extension of its current representation of the Royal Society to India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The company already represents the Royal Society in Europe and the MENA region and now under the leadership of ACCUCOMS’ Commercial Managers, Royal Society’s products will reach libraries within the Indian Sub-Continent.

Royal Society’s origins go back to 1660 where the organization began as an ‘invisible college’ of natural philosophers and physicians. Today the society is the United Kingdom’s national science academy and a Fellowship of some 1,600 of the world’s most eminent scientists. The society is actively involved in policy work, journals, scientific meetings, events, worldwide partnerships and grants and awards, with an aim of supporting excellence in science. The organization publishes ten, high quality peer-reviewed journals covering: biological, cross disciplinary and physical sciences; history and philosophy of science; and cross-disciplinary research.
Graham Anderson, International Sales Manager for the Royal Society said of the new agreement, “ACCUCOMS has a strong and successful team in India and this will enable us to fulfil our mission to recognise, promote, and support excellence in science, and to reach many more institutions over the coming years.”

Rakesh Malik, ACCUCOMS’ Commercial Director for India and APAC commented: “We are glad to extend our current partnership with such a world-renowned organization and one of the oldest continuing societies with publications in science, engineering and medicine. We look forward to increase the penetration of the Royal Society’s publications in the Indian market and promote such valuable, high impact content to readers and institutions in India through our experienced and well-connected team of sales, marketing and telemarketers based in major cities throughout India.”
