Asian Society of Management and Marketing Research and Emerald Group Publishing sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Asian Society of Management and Marketing Research (ASMMR) is proud to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emerald Group Publishing Limited. Both ASMMR and Emerald are eager to make significant contributions in the fields of business, management and marketing research, and under this MoU they will contribute to that in the Asian region, with a focus on the Gulf.

Mr Jordi Caralt, Emerald’s Regional Manager for the Middle East, North Africa & Central Asia, and Mr.Usman Ehsan, ASMMR’s Secretary General jointly signed the MoU at the Emerald office in Dubai.

Both the parties will collaborate to promote case study research method and will also foster development of cases studies writing in Asian region. This collaboration will thus improve management learning and also promote research with the help of case studies with local emphasis. Under this MOU, both parties will organize case study competitions, seminars in the region and publish Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies collection jointly.

Jordi Caralt commented: “Emerald is always keen to develop new ways to foster quality research that makes a significant impact on both education and practice. We believe that this MoU will help us in our mission and greatly benefit this region.”
