DG Open on board of an project designed to boost access to research through libraries in the UK.

Open Access Publisher De Gruyter Open commits to developing Open Access in the UK and gets involved with theAccess to Research project, designed and formed by the Publishers Licensing Society. The initiative, which involves close collaboration between publishers and libraries, resonates with recommendations of the Finch Report to further expand access to publicly funded research.

The entire De Gruyter Open portfolio is available in open access throughout the scheme.

The Access to Research initiative will give public access to articles on health, biological and chemical research, engineering, art, and social sciences.

All content provided is digital and can be accessed from designated library terminals via the search delivery service Summon.

De Gruyter Open articles are already available free to view on De Gruyter Online. Their inclusion in the project will not restrict any existing rights to access and copy OA articles.
