Emerald understands the importance of ensuring its author and editor community have the ability to connect with like-minded academics. To ensure the best quality research is published, it is important authors have the ability to gain access to support services such as: scientific editing; translation services; statistical support; copy editing; funding application support; visuals and publication support – along with other fundamental services.
Being able to direct Emerald authors to the Peerwith service will enhance their existing journey from initial research to final publication, and also support the information sharing of academics globally – ensuring their research has impact within their field of expertise.
Harriet Bell, Marketing Director at Emerald said: “Emerald is committed to supporting and nurturing the research community, particularly in their goal to publish their work quickly, and in as engaging a format as possible.
“We know that the journey from funding, to writing, to publication and wider dissemination can be daunting. Our aim is to make that as easy as possible and to offer as much help as possible along the way.
“We’re delighted to partner with Peerwith to offer a range of author services which are easily accessible.”
Emerald’s partnership with Peerwith starts as Emerald begins its 50th year in publishing. Joris van Rossum, co-founder of Peerwith said: “We are excited and proud to partner with Emerald, especially when it is celebrating its 50th anniversary year.
“We’re confident that our innovative approach to author services will help them become more successful and effective in publishing their scholarly work.”
