Peking University acquires linguistics and literature eBook package from De Gruyter Mouton

Acquisition strengthens linguistics program at leading Chinese university

Peking University has acquired the complete De Gruyter Mouton collection (up to and including 2017) to strengthen its growing linguistics program.

The acquired collection includes 2,400 ebook titles.

“We are proud that Peking University has chosen to expand its collection with the prestigious De Gruyter Mouton content and that our titles are – even if only indirectly – part of the expansion of linguistics at that renowned institution,” said Ben Ashcroft, Vice President Sales & Marketing at De Gruyter.

“Peking University’s School of Foreign Languages plays a significant part in achieving the university’s stated aim of becoming one of the world’s best universities in the future. Access to this De Gruyter Mouton content not only improves the quality of our resources, but allows our students and researchers to take part in the international academic discussion on linguistics,” said Professor Qian Jun, the Vice Director of Peking University’s School of Foreign Languages.
