Semantico to be co-sponsors of this year’s APE conference, Berlin, 29-30 January

Semantico, suppliers of digital publishing solutions to the scholarly and professional market, is proud to confirm co-sponsorship of APE 2013, 29-30 January, Berlin.

APE is a key annual event in the academic publishing and scholarly communications sector. The aim of APE is to foster a better understanding of scholarly communication and the role of information in science, education and society. This year’s programme will offer a broad spectrum of discussions and presentations with topics ranging from research excellence to access and sharing of knowledge. The conference also attracts high profile keynote speakers, and this year will feature Dame Janet Finch, Professor of Sociology, University of Manchester.

In addition to co-sponsoring the event, Semantico will be taking an active role in the conference with Managing Director, Richard Padley speaking on pre-conference day and participating in a panel discussion called: The End of the Document? A Discussion with Provocative Statements and Intelligent Answers. Rob Virkar-Yates, Semantico’s Strategy Director will also be present to represent Semantico.
